**Call for abstracts – RPS Winter Summit*
Bridging the gap between industry, academia, policy and practice
5 December 2017, Mary Ward House, London
A new event in the RPS calendar, the summit is designed to showcase the latest innovations in science, research and education, and will explore how they impact across pharmacy and healthcare in general.
Chaired by RPS Chief Executive, Paul Bennett and the new RPS Chief Scientist our speaker programme is composed of experts and influencers who are pushing the boundaries of innovation in the pharmaceutical sciences, research and education across industry, academia and practice. It provides a forum for knowledge translation and an opportunity to develop new ideas and innovations from the lab to the clinic and vice versa. Programme themes:
- New medicines – Chaired by Professor Gino Martini, Roche and Kings College London
- Better medicines – Chaired by Professor Christine Bond, University of Aberdeen
- Better use of medicines – Chaired by Professor Derek Stewart, Robert Gordon University
- Developing the workforce – Chaired by Professor Peter Kopelman, St George’s University of London
Abstract submissions for poster and oral presentations are welcomed from across the pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research and health services research (including pharmacy practice and education). Research, quality improvement and audit will be considered.
Abstracts accepted for poster and oral presentations will be published in the International Journal of Pharmacy Practice or the Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology (Impact Factor 2.405)
