PRUK Personal Awards 2017: Applications Now Open
Pharmacy Research UK has announced the launch of the 2017 PRUK Research Awards and bursaries; funding award schemes designed to support new researchers to directly advance pharmacy research for the overall benefit of patients and the public.
PRUK has 3 award types on offer in 2017:
- Research Training Bursaries provide funding for community and primary care pharmacists who have an interest in developing their skills in conducting research relating to every day practice. There are three levels of funding, depending on the qualifications that are being worked towards.
- Personal Research Awards support new and junior researchers in research related to community pharmacy, primary care and hospital pharmacy.
- BOPA-PRUK Research Award (jointly funded by BOPA and PRUK) is designed for pharmacy professionals in oncology and haematology to undertake research projects in translational and health service related to oncology and haematology pharmacy, with a focus on patient benefit.
The awards, worth up to £45K are available to fund projects (and researcher training).
